Selected work

Brake Pedal Connector Redesign
Redesign of a 7075-T6 aluminum brake pedal connector around fixed mounting interfaces, with a linear static FEA of the redesign.
Tools: SolidWorks / SolidWorks Simulation

Low-Cost Root Crop Washer for Ghana
A hand-cranked, electricity-free root crop washer for smallholder farmers in Ghana, specified with QFD and evaluated with mathematical models and a design FMEA. CAD is in progress; prototype build and testing are upcoming.
Tools: SolidWorks / QFD / Design FMEA

Semi-Automatic Produce Slicer
A team-designed slicer that uses a cam-follower mechanism to turn manual rotary input into a reciprocating cutting stroke. I designed the housing and the pusher.
Tools: SolidWorks

Cooler with Built-In Speaker
A cooler with a built-in speaker, from a team reverse engineering assignment. I modeled the exterior of the speaker and the overall cooler design.
Tools: SolidWorks
Computational work

F1 Pit Stop Predictor
Predicts Formula 1 pit stop timing from race data with an XGBoost and LSTM ensemble, deployed with a strategy optimizer as an interactive app.
Battery Remaining-Useful-Life Predictor
Predicts remaining useful life of Li-ion cells from cycling data, with an ablation that separates the sensor signal from the cycle count.
